Dr. Dre said that the last beat that floored him was “All About the Benjamins.” How does that make you feel?

It’s humbling. I was in the studio with Dre the other day. He started working on a record for me. Watching him as a producer is watching greatness. We had a lot of similar traits. It was like looking in the mirror. He would ask questions like, “How you feel about this?” People don’t really understand true producers want to know how you feel about things. We are some of the most observant people on the planet.

Are the comments from Lil’ Kim about Nicki disheartening?
When I heard her say what she said, it didn’t really affect me. I didn’t get mad at her or anything like that. I knew how she felt. I ain’t agree with it. But also I know the motivation. I know that people say, “Oh, he’s trying to get a new Lil’ Kim.” I guess people will see in time. Yeah, Nicki’s had flavored wigs on, but besides that it ain’t even the same approach to the writing.

It's gone crazy this week............

50 Cent goes on air to diss the hell outta Diddy! Oh shiiiiiiiit he's back!

It seems 'Fiddy' is back to his old ways after he went skitzo unleashing some serious comments against the Diddster while he was doing an interview on 'Shade 45' Eminem's personal radio station (yes Em is THAT big).

It all started when Diddy apparently made some diss moves on 50 at a concert in Miami. Fif obv doesn't need any encouragement to retalliate.

Here's what he said:

"Puffy is a bitch. He wanted to be the hot bitch in his group… You know how an ugly bitch surrounds herself with pretty girls? Well, he is the pretty bitch with the other girls around him......He will suck the life out of everyone he is around."

OUCH

He then starts on Cassie. He says he tried to warn Diddy about Cassie and her erm reputation! He says he even had pics of Cassie with another man but Diddy wouldn't listen......wowzers.

"We used to kick it on the telephone, me and Puffy. I said, 'You f**k this girl? You like her like that? I'm going to send you something.' Then I sent the photos......
He was like, ‘Where did you get those?'"

BET Awards.....Chris Brown redeems himself? Minaj wins BIG

The 2010 BET awards was a BIG one.....

I have scoured websites across the globe to give you's all an update on the gowns, the speeches, the drama and the perfrormances HOW EXCITING!!!!

So firstly: Beau of the Ball....Nicki Minaj who won Best Female Hip Hop Act, Best New Artist, and Best Group with Young Money.

When she got the award for Best Female Hip Hop Act she hugged labelmate Drizzy and went on stage. Her speech went like so:

“This is for Dwayne Carter" ......for his tough love and tough words etc

She went on with a clear message to the recent Lil Kim diss....

“Thank you to Queen Latifah because you know what, earlier we were rehearsing and she gave me so much positive energy. I think it’s so important right now for positive energy among women because I’m fighting for women. This is not for me, this is for all of us!!! So thank you all the female rappers that paved the way for me...."

I've heard stupid rumours that Nicki looked like she was lip synching during hewr performance on the show....she called it out on Twitter and said 'she can't wait for the re-runs' to show she was live. You can make up your own minds on that one.

 

On to Chris Brown who was the other stand out figure of the night. During an emotional tribute to the King Of Pop, Brown broke down during his AMAZING performance....spine tingling stuff. 

 

He sailed through renditions of 'The Way You Make Me Feel' to 'Billie Jean' with picture perfect copy of MJ's every move.

It was when he got to the poignant 'Man in the Mirror' that he crumbled down to the stage with tears streaming down his face, unable to sing: a sure sign of the way he has been treated since Rihanna-gate.

He later collected a 'Fandemonium' award and said in his speech:

"I let you all down, but I won't do it again."

Let's hope he's learnt from his mistakes and can move on. AWESOME performance though. Check it out here: (keep your eyes on 2.5 mins in.....massive!). Emotional stuff.....

Other notable performances was the tribute to Prince who was collecting a 'Lifetime Achievement' award...

Best Male R&B Artist went to Trey Songz who dedicated his award to his mom....aarw!

 

 

Best Male Hip Hop Artist: Drake. Who performed on the night with Jeezy....performance was alright, nothin spesh.

 

Best Video went to Lady Gaga and Beyonce for Telephone.

Rihanna and Jeezy won the Viewers Choice Award for 'Hard'

Miss Minaj seems to be popping up left, right and centre in the goss columns these days....fame hungry? or actually just that interesting? I'll let you decide!

So this week Nicki is involved in a lesbian love traingle..... ok guys, calm down :-)  .....we all know she admitted to being bisexual a while back, so no-one was surprised when she gave Cassie a shout in Usher's song: 'Lil Freak' and I quote: "I'm plotting on how I can take Cassie away from Diddy"  and it seems she's working on doing just that....Waaart!

Recently, the two have been inseperable. She tweeted this pic of her and newly blonde Cassie with the caption "Wit my Wife" ok k k.....

The duo were then seen walking around, holding hands at the Summer Jam for Hot 97. (see below). Note to Cassie: I really don't like that mullet / shave style, she's too pretty to pull it off, no?

Now the cynical side of me screams....'PUBLICITY STUNT!' And who coud blame Cassie, her career is down the PAN, the naked shots with her ladygarden out didn't work, maybe she's thinking this will? And where the heck is Diddy? Step up and get your girl back P Poppa Diddy!
